Supporting Young Musicians from Artsakh

The “We Are Our Mountains” Development Agency enthusiastically supports the educational initiative “I Was Born in Artsakh” , authored and primarily implemented by the Public Organization “Arvest 23”.

As part of our partnership, the “We Are Our Mountains” Development Agency has focused on providing talented young musicians from Artsakh with necessary musical instruments (violins, cellos, double bass, clarinet, trumpet, pianos). Thanks to the support of ICBO “Howard Karagezian,” the Agency has also acquired tablets for the musicians.

Sustainability:

Artsakh was rich not only in cultural heritage but also in talented artists and creative potential. As a result of forced deportation, many young musicians had to leave their instruments behind and interrupt their education.

Many families, finding themselves in difficult life circumstances, are currently unable to pay for their children’s professional education in Armenia.

Our assistance with providing instruments and equipment is an important first step that will allow young musicians to continue their professional development.
