Over 70 kindergartens and health institutions in Artsakh will be provided solar water heaters

The “We Are Our Mountains” territorial development agency has launched another new “Solar Water Heaters for Artsakh Social Sector Institutions” program in Artsakh, within which framework over 70 kindergartens and health institutions in the Stepanakert, Martuni, Martakert, and Askeran regions will be provided with solar water heaters. Dimensioning and design works have already been started by the professional company in the project’s beneficiary institutions.

“In the conditions of the blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, during which we also face a deepening energy crisis, this program is truly of particular importance. Through this project, these social institutions will be provided with hot water regardless of the availability of electricity and gas. We have already started the work with the professional organization, and we expect that the installations will begin within the next month,” said Grigory Martirosyan, head of Artsakh projects for the “We Are Our Mountains” agency.

This program, like others carried out by the agency, is implemented in a public-private partnership with the ministries of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure; Healthcare; and Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Artsakh. The project is implemented with the support of the “We Are Our Mountains” agency’s donors.

The “We Are Our Mountains” territorial development agency undertakes and implements development projects in Artsakh and Syunik in cooperation with the governments of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, as well as other local, international, and private organizations. The “We Are Our Mountains” territorial development agency was founded by Ruben Vardanyan and his colleagues.
