А New Year’s Surprise to the Beneficiaries of the “Wings-Gyumri” Program

On December 26, the “We Are Our Mountains” Development Agency organized a festive event at Gyumri’s Hayordats House for the children and parents – beneficiaries of the “Wings-Gyumri” program, trying to bring the feeling of New Year’s magic to the families who are still bearing the consequences of the blockade and  the war.

During the New Year’s show program, games and competitions were organized, and all participants were given special tickets to Gyumri’s Friendship Park skating rink and other entertainment venues. The most active participants were also awarded with books.

“We are convinced that such events are important for the emotional recovery and social integration of families forcibly displaced from Artsakh. Psychological support and the sense of community are important components of their adaptation,” emphasized Sona Hovhannisyan, head of the agency’s Educational Initiatives and Human Capital Development Department.
