“We are our mountains” agency provided gift cards for the purchase of household goods for Artsakh families
More than 50 families forcibly displaced from Artsakh and now living in the enlarged Tatev community of Syunik region became beneficiaries of the “Essential household goods for Artsakh residents” program, which is implemented by the “We are our mountains” agency.
As part of the program, they were given gift cards in the amount of 100 to 300 thousand drams (depending on the number of family members), with which families can purchase household goods.
Recently, representatives of the agency visited Artsakh families who live in all settlements of the enlarged Tatev community and presented them with gift cards.
“Communicating with the beneficiaries of the program, we saw how important this assistance is for them. This is one of the agency’s projects that solves a small but very specific problem. People left all their property in Artsakh and every day they face numerous everyday problems. We are glad to alleviate their worries at least to some extent, and we will do everything possible to continue the work started by Ruben Vardanyan,” says the head of social projects of the agency Armen Mangasaryan.
“The children were forced to see and feel with their own eyes the cruelty of forced eviction and experience all these difficulties. We are trying to help through our programs so that they can recover and return to a carefree childhood. This is one of the priorities of the agency “We are our mountains”, and we will continue our programs in this direction also in 2024. And we call and encourage everyone to join forces and do everything to put smiles on the faces of our children again,” notes the agency’s project manager, Narine Aghabalyan.
